Blessed Child and Barack Obama

Ted Dekker, my favorite author, along with Bill Bright, the founder of campus crusade, wrote a book called "Blessed Child." If you haven't read it, you should. Especially right now.
The book is about a boy who has incredible spiritual gifts. While it is sometimes almost far fetched and hard to imagine being that in-tune with God, it is a powerful book about faith like a child.
Also in this book there is a man who is running for President of the USA. He has the American people under a spell with his well-chosen words, promises, and catchy slogan of "Power to the People." Sounds familiar, doesnt it? What they don't realize is that this same man is behind bombings taking place in other countries and has conenctions to the most powerful of terorists groups.
In my opinion, Obama could very well be that man. I pray he is not, esp if he does become the president of our nation. And if he is, I pray that like in the book, God sends someone to expose him. That man just makes me nervous and uneasy. I dont buy into his great promises and smooth-talking. I also dont want to give the government all of my hard earned money.
anyways, I higly recommend "Blessed Child." It is an increidble story, I found myself learning more about abandon and true faith from it than I ever have from reading any devotional.
