The track here in Charlotte is about 10 minutes from my house.
Jeff and I, along with his brother and friend, went to the Bank of America 300 Busch Race.
Thanks to some connections, we had an infield pass.
In the infield you will find:
1. lots of hicks with campers with platforms built on top to sit/stand on to watch the race. We saw one guy wearing a dress made out of beer boxes...
2. Victory Lane
3. The garages and trailors for all the drivers.
Jeff and I had no seats, just the infield pass. Being a Busch race, the place wasnt super packed out. We were able to spend the first part of the race standing at the fence in turn 2, about 30? feet from the cars flying by.
We eventually moved to the top of a crest in the in field. We could see about 4/5 of the track from there, as well as a huge screen showing replays.
It was a fun time and cool to exepereince. It made for a long night with scattered rain showers causing two red flags, as well as a dozen cautions, but I am very glad I was able to go and have my first nascar experience (and all for free..!!)

Woohoo! Welcome to the lovely world of racing my dear! You're going to be hooked for the rest of your life. :)
Hey I need to get my website up and running and I really like the layout of yours. Would you mind helping me get mine up and running. I have a domain name and everything, it's just a matter of actually launching it. Let me know if you can help and maybe we can have a phone convo about it.
Thanks friend!
